Ok, time for an update. I've been so busy working and birding I've not had time to post.
5/9/10
Black-and-white Warbler (75)
5/12
Great Crested Flycatcher (76)
Black-throated Green Warbler (77)
Orange-crowned Warbler (78)
5/14
Northern Parula (79)
Lincoln's Sparrow (80/112)
Blue-winged Warbler (81)
*Today I had 9 warbler species in the yard:
NOPA, BWWA, TEWA, NASA, YRWA, OVEN, PAWA, BTNW, CMWA
I hope to hit double digits on the warblers this weekend as I'm OFF from work and will be birding LOTS!
2013 and beyond
It's pretty simple: the most birds seen or heard from one's yard during 2013 will be the "winner". Want in? O.k....then do it despite that.
2013 promises to be a lot less mean but still a carbon-free birding competition, even if slightly less exciting than a MEGA x EPIC hybrid.
