Here it goes...
5/15 - I got to 15 species of Warblers - 2 shy of tying my record from last year. Here they are:
Nashville
Ovenbird
Tennessee
Parula
Palm
Chestnut-sided (82)
Orange-crowned
Yellow-rumped
Wilson's (83)
Golden-winged (84)!!!
Cape May
Blackburnian
Magnolia
Yellow
Common Yellowthroat
Two other additions for the yard are:
Eastern Wood-pewee (85)
Swainson's Thrush (86)
Today (5/16) was quite dead with no additions.
2013 and beyond
It's pretty simple: the most birds seen or heard from one's yard during 2013 will be the "winner". Want in? O.k....then do it despite that.
2013 promises to be a lot less mean but still a carbon-free birding competition, even if slightly less exciting than a MEGA x EPIC hybrid.

Oops, forgot SWTH (86).
