2013 and beyond

It's pretty simple: the most birds seen or heard from one's yard during 2013 will be the "winner". Want in? O.k....then do it despite that.

2013 promises to be a lot less mean but still a carbon-free birding competition, even if slightly less exciting than a MEGA x EPIC hybrid.

...a small group of ROPIs finally decided to kick to some wastelands airspace...good grief, I still don't have HOSP yet...

So what are the rules on moving to a new yard, mid-year?

  1. Nice man. I just switched our comment preferences so only members of this blog can comment since I just deleted a spam post that was entirely in Chinese or Japanese...
Also, I took advantage of getting home from work at 11pm last night and heard a distant GHOW over the constant drone of I-88 (which is less than a mile north of me). #23 and my first year bird in almost a month...

  2. Wow Boone. That bugger is still a life yardbird up my way. Your totals may be low still, but your "quality" ain't all that bad.

  3. Fitz...I'm impressed with your Buboage. I have to put up with this damned curb cleaner thing every night from the Walmart nearby. My prospects for nocturnal listening seem to dwindle by the day.
