2013 and beyond

It's pretty simple: the most birds seen or heard from one's yard during 2013 will be the "winner". Want in? O.k....then do it despite that.

2013 promises to be a lot less mean but still a carbon-free birding competition, even if slightly less exciting than a MEGA x EPIC hybrid.

Moving Rules

So what happens if we move in a couple of months (we can't take the mongoloids that live above us who refuse to walk around normally)? Do I have to start the list over? I would imagine so, otherwise I'd bounce around from south Tejas, to Quito, to Monterey.

    Yes, to me the list stays with the yard in which it was started and you start from scratch when you move.

    I don't know about that Slager. Things could actually get a lot worse. It also all depends on what we can actually afford. The cost of living in this part of the country verges on the criminal.
